Graphic Design Forum :: Cut & paste from Illustrator to InDesign
I was marking some of my second years' project the other day and I noticed a "sloppy" habit some of them have formed. Rather than saving their Illustrator files as EPS and placing them in InDesign, they are copying and pasting or dragging and dropping vector objects from one program to another. I realize that this has become one of the selling features of CS products, but it doesn't seem to make for good prepress production. In many cases, the elements they copied were no longer editable and colors even changed when imported using this method. I can't see why... - Read More at This Link..
