I always enlarge the artboard bigger than the page, turn off Crop Areas and import as Media size into Indesign. BTW, if you have art hanging off 4" on the right, The art board is sized to include this art as well as 4" to the left to keep the artboard centered. When placing into a pic box in Indesign, I use the Keystroke Shift-command-3 to auto center the art. - Read More at This Link..
