OK, so I'm a little late to this party but... I got to beta test an InDesign plugin called P2ID, (get it, Publisher2InDesign) made by Marzware. These are the people who bring us FlightCheck, and several other plugins. With this, you can open a PC Publisher right into Mac InDesign. Check their website (you may even find my review.)
