It sounds like most of your issues revolve around what the printers in Germany and Czechoslovakia expect of your PDF. Many european printers want PDF's submitted as PDF/X-3 standard, use that preset when outputting your files from InDesign. You may also consider leaving your files as RGB and letting your printers perform the color space conversion. (***Side note: if you are exporting a PDF/X1-a it will automatically convert RGB to CMYK, PDF/X-3 allows for all color spaces in the file***) - Read More at This Link..
